How to Volunteer

1. a person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking
2. a person who performs a service willingly and without pay.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Mentors

Provide a supportive relationship with a child in order to enhance his or her self-esteem and social skills.

Provides opportunities for the child to participate in community activities. Must be 21years of age.

Activities/Hobby Group Instructors

Instructs and interests children in various art forms, craft skills, and instruction recreational or fitness training. This is a great opportunity to individuals or groups.

Special Events

Assist at special events in a variety of ways. Spend the day with us at our annual Holly Hill Golf Classic, assist with wrapping gifts for the holidays, serving Thanksgiving dinner to over 200 members of the community, or work with us at our annual run, the Kraut Route.

Clerical

Supports the agency through assistance with mailings, events, filing, and other office duties.

Archivist

Assists with organizing, cataloging, and displaying the agency's vast historical records and photographs.
